| Happy 6th Birthday Cousin N! |
This past weekend Little Bear's Cousin N turned 6 and we headed down south to celebrate. It was a long weekend of traveling and visiting but I was very impressed with how well Little Bear handled it. I actually think that it helped him to come out of his shell a little bit! He managed a 5 hour car ride there and back, slept in a new place, played with new kids and new toys, adjusted his schedule and visited with new adults - all without any meltdowns!
As soon as we got there, Little Bear began following after Cousin N. This is the first time that they have seen each other since Little Bear started walking. Cousin N was a great big cousin! He played with Little Bear and didn't seem to mind being followed around. While Cousin M is only 6 months younger than Little Bear, he isn't moving around much yet, so Little Bear didn't have much interest in him. It will be fun to see how these relationships change in the coming months!
