Technically, I guess that this is not my first sewing project - I already made a set of cloth wipes and a set of diaper inserts. However, this is the first item I have made that will actually be seen by anyone other than Little Bear. Now, I know that it isn't anything fancy and that a monkey with a sewing machine could probably make it, but still - I'm proud of myself! :o) Everyone has to start somewhere, right?
I thought that the panel was just adorable and it matched Little Bear's bedroom perfectly - so how could I pass it up? And I was thrilled that Little Bear loved it as much as I did! He wanted it even before I was finished and as I now type, he is sleeping with it. It makes me happy to see him enjoy something that I made and inspires me to make more!
Wow! How cute! I'm very impressed. Maybe that is why I can't sew, I am not a monkey and I don't have a sewing machine. I always wondered why I couldn't master it! Lol! I think it is adorable as is your son playing with it! Thanks for the fun post!
